This is a great concept. The combination of bold colours and use of lines and angles makes for a striking shot. The violin looks amazing in blue. Excellent clarity of detail too, and a well composed piece of photography.

it was the kitchen floor of the last place I was living in... definitely cool
however, it looked much worse in person... I had to touch up the photo quite a bit to make it presentable

First thing I thought of perhaps you could turn the contrast up by 5+ to emphasis on the colours but noticing the shadows, you could loose a lot of detail.

I've actually given this as a print to a few friends and family members now, and they all love it
I adjusted the contrast as best as I felt i could... if you look at the other violin shot I took on the same floor, the neck got totally lost in the floor, and I didn;t want that to happen again

and i can't take credit for the color of the violin; I only bought it
and yeah, it does look a little fake almost... i touched it up quite a bit. the floor was far from perfect beforehand, but i think i did a decent enough job cleaning it up
