coloured sketch, the wonderful thing about digital art is that you can easilly colour a simple sketch,I'm just playing through Xenogears for PSX right now, I luv the game, great characters, great art design, great storyline, a lot like Evangelion, but with a better ending.
good music to, you know in a few way i think that Rei ayanami's character design might have been slightly based on Elly here. just look at the hair, but her personality is totally differant. then Rei became a blueprint for quite a few other anime characters. meh.

I've always wondered Did XenoSaga ever have anything in common with the Original Xenogears? I still have a hard time placing my hand on but Hell yeah Some of the similarities are almost striking somewhat Fei at times can almost remind me of sinji.

yes and no
xenoGears was made by squaresoft in their glorydays, xenosaga was well done by another company. but they are related since many of the people behind the games are the same. same lead story, same music composer. and a few others. but are they in some a continuation... the best answer is maybe. if you want to think the two games are set in the same fictional universe but possibly hundreds of years apart then sure.
one of the neat things i remember was one charcter in both games, sorta. there is a guy in xenogears with a X on his face in blue. in xenosaga there is an identical guy with a cross + on his face. very differant characters but visually almost the same.
