Yep, we must worship Him in spirit and in truth. It's not just a chore, religious ritual, or "suppose to worship Him in only certain places." It's a RELATIONSHIP matter. Jesus was explaining to the Samaritan woman (In gospel of John) that God's not just a worship of a certain way only, it's in spirit and in truth indeed.

I know what you mean. Mankind has a choice to either be on God's side or not to. "Or not to" is right, some people scoff at God and anything to do with Him and don't desire God. I myself desire God and I don't care what people think of me.

Yep. Before I desired Him, I used to think He was just a joke. But I found evidences later on that Creation was actualy proven. If the universe happened just by chance, WHAT let the chance happen? How did the atoms get there if God isn't the creator?
I desire God and I'm not ashamed of it. Some people think the God statement is dumb and foolish, well, there's a verse that says "The message of the cross is foolish to those who are perishing."(1 Corinthians 1:18)
For those who say there is NO God, a verse "The fool said in his heart 'there is no God." (Psalm 14:1)

well... just because you put the word GOD next to every unanswered question doesn't make it truth you know...
there are lots of god.. you just happen to bump into yours (time and location).. he could be Mohammad, Buddha, Zeus, Thor, Mithra, i could name them for hours you should check them out maybe you find a cooler one.. not as bloodthirsty as the bible guy

I understand your point of view of the Bible and it's verses and the way you take it. A lot of people who tried to disprove it thought it was filled with flaws and contradictions. There's nothing wrong with the Creator's inspired Word(Bible), it's man's lack of understanding it and they take it WAY out of context. I know it's 2010, but I'd rather be historically accurate than politically correct. The Bible is history and prophecy, and thanks to former athiest named Lee Strobel that tried to prove the Bible wrong, he ended it up PROVING it on the way, a former athiest now a Christian, made a book and DVD called "The Case For Christ." Wanna try to prove the intelligent Mr. Strobel wrong? Good luck with that. 
There are a lot of gods? Oh yeah, you mean idols, what God/Creator said about them in Exodus is "Do not have other gods before me," and "Don't make yourself a graven image and serve it." Last but not least, He said in Isaiah 44:6 I am the first and I am the last, there is NO God, but ME."(so much for idols)
The Old Testament that you thought was bogus, it's called the OLD TESTAMENT for a reason, it points the direction to salvation. God did those harsh things, why? Because of the hardness of man's hearts. We humans are not RIGHT with God because of our sins.(Darn devil got Adam and Eve duped and they got sin and it passed down to us)
I don't wanna be rude, but if you say there is no hell, tell the ones that are down there cooking. God does not let sin into His heaven/Kingdom. Sure, it's common a lot of people WANT to go to heaven, but not a lot of them WANT God to BE there. (He will be weither we want it or not)
