cool how you gave this a perspective lightsource and all the hues that ended up in the body, gives off that chimera unnatural fusion vibe to the body, and it's nice how much the back becomes a focal point and draws your eyes to the center of the image

I was popping into your stream now and then and this picture kept cracking me up because it's so like a random design I had to make once in an Ag Bio class back in HS. My teacher loved giving us art project things and there was one where we had to flip a coin and heads would give you this trait for your animal and tails would give you that and one of the first thing was humps and so we thought were were designing some sort of camel but actually it turned out to be much more of an insect and oh memories~
Not a lot to say really on the textures or general design past that though, except maybe that the eyes (again, sorry) are a little distracting, this time because of the extra ones which look disconnected from the rest of the animal. I think it would have helped to either put pupils in every eye or have no pupils at all (more like spiders). While I imagine here you were going for a mix of mammal and spider with those eyes, I think it would have worked better to simply be consistent with all of them because now the extra sets look less like eyes and more like random gems growing out of his head. A lot of insects have visible pupils so it's okay to use them (although a little odd when you're doing multiple sets since that's much more spider-like) but yeah, gotta be consistent about that.

Ahh yeah I remember that guy. I always liked the concept of animals being/having islands on their backs, it makes for some pretty scenery. Anyways Thank you!
