joining the bandwagon and making my own gemsona!
I was researching gems and found iolite to be cute sounding, since it reminded me of lolita fashion (which is why her outfit is loosely based on the popular Japanese fashion)

Name: Iolite

Pronouns: She/her

Weapon: Cane Sword

Gem placement: right cheek

Likes: cute things, fashion, food, stargazing

Dislikes: hot weather

Personality: Iolite is a timid gem but will warm up to others once she feels she's close enough with them. While she may be shy, but she can definitely put up a fight. She's very skilled with her cane sword, but she lives a (mostly) peaceful life so she doesn't have to use her weapon often!

Backstory: Iolite fought for Homeworld during the Gem War, but was left behind when her allies retreated back to their planet. Scared and alone, she fled for her life and has become a sort of a nomad. Ever since she escaped, she spends her days on travelling around the Earth. Surprisingly to her, she soon finds herself in love with Earth culture and decides to permanently stay on the planet. She sometimes misses being around other gems though...
