Description
An albino crocodile has an estimated survival rate of only 24 hours in the wild. Albino crocodilians are extremely sensitive to light and UV radiation, and can easily die of sun poisoning. They must be kept in special dark conditions, away from sunlight, and have their diet supplemented with vitamin D3 to accommodate their needs.They are born with all the capabilities of an ancient predator, but are rendered helpless due to conditions outside their control.

If the description is accurate I would guess it is safe to assume such a creature would be kept in captivity. It could not survive in any earth-based environment based these traits... leading to a short lifespan... and an even shorter evolutionary line.
A variation in the species like this would lead to a forced adaptation in order for a gene pool to remain clean. In laimen's terms; human intervention. Hm... if we can keep them alive for ten thousand years perhaps we could treat them like dogs. Interesting concept considering the canis lupis's (wolf) effect on our own evolution, we would not be the specie we are today without them... or for that matter the cat, both were essential in our evolutionary history. Imagine how they would effect us. Perhaps a superior mind... leading to a frailer body...
This is of curse fantasy based on actual, proven theories in science. Just fun to think about.

Reminds me of the albino peacock. He couldn't get a mate because of his lack of colors until the caretakers found a blind female for him. Sadly, she died. And on the day she died, the peacock escape to look for her. The poor thing didn't know she's gone forever. :'c

This design is so awesome and I did not realize it was only 24 hours...It's sad that despite being a fearsome predator that the albino ones best chance is probably to be taken care of by us humans..I've seen a few in zoos and on t.v. like that. They are so beautiful yet fragile, the crystals fit pretty nicely in this.
