Now that it’s officially MerMay, time to kick off the month with art correlating to the theme. I’ll specifically be following the list made for this year. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get to all the prompts since I have finals coming up, so some of them may be late or incomplete depending on how much time I have. I may end up combining some of them, lol.

Anyway, I know I had previously drawn myself as a mermaid back in 2020 (seen here: www.deviantart.com/squeakynood… ), but I felt like changing my design with a darker and fancier one. I’ve always loved Beta Fish for their beautiful veil-like fins, hence why I gave my persona a tail based off of them.
