Great work in my opinion! Completely aggree with MikeGould. Surrealism is tightly connected to the expression of the unconscious world and its images. Therefore the keyhole might indicate the door to the conscious world. (Just an interpretation. )

It's like a portal to any place. Different dimensions, parts of the universe or planes of consciousness.

I like to put little things like that in paintings to sort if invite people in. When people see it it's already served it's main purpose, to be noticed. How people interpret it is up to them at that point. I've tried it before... I've tried putting couches and tents and such in paintings and I think it works because people sometimes notice.

Interesting juxtaposition of elements. The bay could just be a bay, but it could be a picture on a wall as the sky with it's framed collection of found objects and keyhole suggests. The spiral elements suggest something else altogether going on. It is thought provoking and questions reality as surrealism should do. Love it.
