Last monday me and a bunch of friends were returning from a trip to town, when a guy on a black motorbike, wearing all black, zoomed past us in the other direction. Somebody made the comment that he'd looked like a ringwraith, and so this drawing was born.Fairly quick sketch - finished in an evening, using just one hb pencil - and with a rather more loose style than I'm used to, but a lot of fun nonetheless.
don't really have much idea what morobikes look like, so apologies for any strangenesses

great job bringing the rinwraiths up to date, but somehow i think it wouldn't be the best way to get around, lots of rocky terrain in middle earth

the next in this mini series (too many people asking for more of the same theme to pass up) will be a little more out of character... when I finally get around to drawing it.
hoping to enter several contests, draw several presents, and maybe look at a few commissions this summer. As well as personal projects and starting work on a comic with a friend's characters... gonna be busy

Actually, I was thinking of Frodo and Sam in the front seats of an old, original Mini Cooper stuck in a round about with Gollum sitting in the back seat but his head is thrust forward between the two front buckets screaming at the two silly hobbits

I love the concept of this, and of course I still love your style of sketching. The proportions on the bike seem a bit off though.

yeah, as I said, I wish I knew more about how bikes are put together. I keep meaning to try and teach myself how to draw all sorts of various stuff but never get round to it. This was meant to be just a quick sketch in between doing revision and other more serious drawings (concept art for a webcomic thing I hope to start someday) and I wanted a break.

actually it was going to be more of a 'things on motorcycles' series (lemmings was the other one suggested)
y'know, somebody was actually thinking about getting this as a tattoo

even if I did only get a brief look at a picture of a guy on a motorbike bfore the internets was stolen back and I had to go from memory mostly
