I'm having far too much fun with these. Day three, and the theme was "Poison" - I know its not the most exciting take on the theme, but it was a lot of fun to draw (and pain. Drawing reflections on glass is pain.)

Cheers! I had a moment of dread shortly after I started on the potion that I'd seriously messed things up with too many shades of green. Glad it turned out alright in the end!

It's the textures that I like most here - the cork and the ropy cord thing. Very nice.

Thank you! I do like drawing string with that extra bit of shape - those cheaty little details that give some impression I actually know what I'm doing.

I think with anything shiny, it always looks terrible in any intermediate stage. It's nice when you finish though, and can sit back and get the 'aw yeah! that actually looks ok!' moment
