That would be so cute!
I could just see them nonchalantly quoting their lines to each other and the trolls would just watch them. They make it all the way to New Jersey before the trolls actually realize that they didn't make that stuff up.

I could picture the two putting on impromptu scenes to boost morale, and Blinky constantly whacking Merlin with his staff when the old coot tries to pick apart the dialogue or complain about the portrayals of magic.
