yay! i got painter 7, so i i'm taking it out for a test drive... and i like it. no references where used, so theres probably a bajillion errorsRelated content

Wow, awesome work on this piece....I love how it captures the essence of the brushstroke, very raw and kinetic, but yet retains this softness to it. Its not easy to convey gold through colors, since there is no official "gold" color, but you nailed it..great job!!!

oh spx ... i love you i mean the shading alone of this thing (really looks like gold!)... *purrrrrrrrrrr* quite a refreshing and personal view of a segment of greek mythology
some anatomic details (length and placement of midas' neck for instance) are a bit off, but your great work with the lights & colors is so overwhelming the details won't be noticeable for most laymen
final thought: don't high-five midas. ever.
