Agonoct conceptual artYou know when I saw Fanciscos original art I said to my self wow thats a real cool idea and I wanted to have a go at it due to its interesting anatomy.
This isnt the final piece ill posting a final fully rendered and colour illustration so be patient this are just studies of the character
just to show that im doing something about it.

Are you familiar with the work of Kent Williams? He's an illustrator (Time, Playboy, etc.) and graphic novelist (Blood: A Tale) and this piece reminds me of his work. Which is a very very good thing.

Well Kent Williams the Comic book artist?? well yes, Hes one of the artists that have influenced my technique, Hes one of the group of artist that have been influenced by the works of Egon Schiele.

In a similar vein, we have Dave Mckean, of Sandman cover fame. He's got a movie coming out soon, of which he was the art director and Neil Gaiman was the writer, called MirrorMask. I know I'm looking forward to it!
