Every time I upload a picture of my Halloween Town Sora cosplay I think, "I HAVE to fix it so I can wear it again!!11"But it keeps not happening.
I just have to sit down, fix a few things, and then I can finally wear this thing to a con. XD;

Gah, I know... I just need a decent wig for mine. :/ I won't wear that darn outfit to a con until I have a proper wig, but I keep forgetting until the last minute.

Let's see...I worked on this the summer of '07 so I just took my time with it. It wasn't hard really, but there's lots of parts to this costume. I'd say over the span of two weeks I got everything done.
Oddly (and embarrassingly) enough, the pointy gloves were the things that gave me the most problems. XD;

That's not too bad. I'de liek to do this cosplay some time. But Im in the middle of working on 4, two of which are a friends. The gloves I can understand, I had issues when I first made my Sora ones, cant wait to tackle them! XD

The wings look fairly simple too. How'ed you make the pumpkin mask, I've seen a couple people made their's out of paper mashe *fail at spelling >< lol)

I used cardboard as a base and then covered it in model magic but the cardboard started curling and the mask looks kind of weird now....so I might go with the paper mache idea myself. XD;

I think paper mache would be okay. I've only used it once for a prop and it worked really well so it should work for a little mask. (I hope XD; )

Im thinking of trying to make a prop with that sort of tactic, my wood keyblade isnt very fun carrying around cuz of the weight, well and it's a little larger then a normal keyblade probly would be ^^' I jsut worry that using paper mache as a prop might fall appart more easily. Im hopeing to work out so it last's longer.

I used foamcore as a base for my paper mache prop--it's always good to have a strong base otherwise yeah...I don't think the paper mache would be good on it's own. XD;
But the more layers you do, the stronger it gets.
