And also, the USA invaded the USSR during the civil war but lost, and kept messing with the USSR. And Sanctions on North Korea and the USA staying on the peninsula continues to worsen the situation and tighten the kims grip on the north.

I'm never going to argue the US doesn't have a fucked up, imperialist history of subverting democracies to install right wing dictatorships in their paranoid pursuit of communist spooks, that's just a fact.
But all the same, every time communism is attempted on a larger scale, it leads to corruption, tyranny, starvation and horror, precisely because it lacks the kind of checks and balances system constitutionally built liberal democracies offer. To jab at a constitution while supporting a side that has repeatedly failed because of it is flat out delusional.

The Development of the ML States happened for a certain reason, they existed in a majority capitalist world where most forces were out to destroy them, no duh they turned out the way they did. To simply say communism fell because it is bound to lead to dictatorship is downright idiotic, and requires denial of the western powers coordinated plan to contain and attack any semblance of socialism.
