(Just gonna drop this here before I leave for AX!! /excitedddd)From top to bottom, left to right:

Well, Kurt was born to Mystique in a rather superstitious village, and they thought that he was a demon and tried to kill him, but Mystique threw him in a river and disguised herself as one of the villagers to save his life. Then he was found and became part of the circus in Munich, Germany, where he was given the name 'The Amazing Nightcrawler.' Eventually he either left/escaped the circus, and th movie X2 covers it from there!

Oh~! So cute!! xD xD The last panel Kurt just gabbling away in German, describing the entire day without any punctuation... reminds me of my little niece back when she was just learning verbs and adjectives. One time, she regaled me on how "Ich hab mit Tante Lohre's Klip-klap (high heels) schΓΌe geschpielt" for a little over 10 minutes before she realized I bought her a plastic ring.

He's Polish, but he speaks German. Along with English and French in the movie.

Yeah, however it is completely possible for him to be German because Poland had the most concetration camps is Nazi controlled europe and people were being shipped from all over europe to those camps, even German Jewish people were shipped to the camps in Poland, few; compared to other camps in other countries, were actually killed in Germany.

and in any matter Erik was born to a Jewish German family but they fled to Poland in 1939 to escape the Nazis but ended up being caught by then during the German invasion of Poland, then they were sent to the Warsaw Ghetto and eventually to be killed and buried in a mass grave. Erik escaped that ordeal but was eventually captured and taken to Auschwitz, there he reunited with Magda; a childhood love, they escaped in 1944 and ran off to the ukraine. After that Various other unfortunate things happen to Erik, but the either way German is Erik first language and He is, in fact German. I am really sorry if this sounds rude, I just thought people might find it interesting

Well, in the comics, Kurt was abandoned in Germany for reasons I don't know... Just a random fact .

He was abandoned because his mother, Mystique, was living in hiding in Germany. When she gave birth to Kurt, her identity was revealed to the townspeople. Because he had no shapeshifting abilities like her own and therefore couldn't hide alongside her, she tossed him over a cliff and fled the town she was staying in.
Yeah, I knew that already. But that obviously didn't happen in the First Class film.
