This is the newest Casper comic and I just ordered the first one, the art is really vamped up, but the writing is the same as the old ones. At least Casper dosen't look like a girl, he did a few times in the older one.Related content

Punk Wendy scares me, she looks like someone you don't want to meet at night, she may pull out a switchblade knife and cut me, unless if I have a hand phaser.

Well, in my own fan-fics (canon), there are parallel realities, and the Spectrals can be seen as one such. Likewise the Evil Casper, the Director (a corrupted Casper), Casper the Friendly Magician (and a ghost Wendy).
I might add that there is no apparent continuity in the feature movies.

wish they kept the ghost's "no-legs" style like from the Casper movie, but other than that I love the style and revamp character's designs

I like it when they switch between legs and no legs. That way you know if they're flying or not.
