Well, it all started one bright, shiny morning when I woke up to play Phantasy Star Online (the offline version...hehe), then realized that for some reason all of my previous character data had been deleted... After much confusion, and switching of memory cards to make sure it was the right one, I grumpily resigned myself to starting over from scratch, and to try playing as a type of character I haven't tried before. So after going for a RAmar, and playing around with faces and hair and costumes and whatnot, I ended up with a PSO version of Chester. So then I was like "Holy crap, I've got to draw this." So after a few days of leveling him up without doing so, I finally did. Mostly due to the fact that (A) I needed to submit something, and (B) I realize that I've drawn tons of different versions of myself, but I haven't drawn as many different versions of my other characters. This is like, totally a parallel dimension here...Oh, and I tried making a PSO character of Robo-N, but it didn't really work out as well. *shrug* Oh well, still got the one I made of Guts Man! Hells yah! ^^

I got a level 191 RAcast with a level 200 Agastya Mag.

He was a RAmar in the game, because he could do magic. XD It was the only thing in the game that I could make look close enough to him. I think I managed to get him to level 80-something before my TV died.

I still play it on PC with a private server.
It's cool cause everybody knows everybody.
And exp rates are 3X.

But it got really boring all by myself.
Then one of my friends showed me a private server for PC. And I was all like, "Heck yeah!"

MMOs and their crackishness, I swear... I haven't played an online game of PSO since the days it was on the dreamcast. O_o And yet I still continued to play offline for years later, making characters based off of my own... XD ;

Seriously, I have got to do that now.
If I ever become a GM on the server I play on (Which isn't very hard to imagine), I have great plans for what characters I'll make.

PSO was fun for a while. But eventually it gets boring, because a lot of players you meet online sometimes ruin the gaming experience. Usually legit people complain about people using AR codes. I've only played on a private server, not on the Sega servers themselves. I don't really know much, but that's what I read about what goes on. Anyway, nice pic.

I know what data erase is... my old PSX saves corrupted data half the time... I have to save at LEAST on two different slots any game... and sometime he saves them both corrupt ~ย I lost a 30 hours front mission game, ff7, etc monster rancher too (like 5 times) xD
PSO esthetics always seemed nice, neva could try it though.

Oh man, PSO was so much fun on the Gamecube. I've forgotten all about the game. Probobly because it pissed me off so much. I got to a point where there was absolutely NOTHING to do but boring level ups to either 1) try to get another special weapon, or 2) level up enough to where I can beat that hard-as-hell last boss in episode 2.
Too bad I never got to play it on the internet. DARN YOUR SIX DOLLAR FARE, SEGA!
I have to tell ya though.... make a hunter character. It pays off in the long run.... and short run for that matter. Aw heck, the pretty much own the entire game.

Since the Dreamcast version first came out. Well, that version was my brother's, and I was sorta mooching off it... BUT! He gave me his gamecube version for Christmas last year, so I am quite happy about that! But what I love most about it is making a character that resembles one from something else... like for instance, other than the one I made of Guts Man, I also made a hunter that looks like Hyatt from Excel Saga. X3
