thanks, I made use of gradient tool and rendering lighting effects.

sorry it is photoshop lingo...the names of filters in my program..
gradient tool makes the background go from one chosen color to another gradually.
rendering is a filter for lighting effects like directional light...spot light, omni light and so on..

maybe someday when I grow up I will learn how to use my computer and get PS so I can do some digital artwork (probably not but its nice to dream) lol thanks for the explanation

What did you use for the light source while she posed for the shot? You work from pix, right?

hehe i didn't, made it all up. it was a very open light source with no real direction. i created a burst of light in ps in seperate layer and worked from there.
