Description
Another character with bad, but "untouchable" costume.You know how in Thor magic and science were interchangeable, and how their clothing reflected that. This is what I was going for in this design. I wanted it have a futuristic Amazon feel to it.
I made her dress like an Amazon Warrior Queen for the simple fact that she is one. Made the stars on her underarmor less patriotic and more cosmic. Flip-flopped between red and white, because I like how they looked. The red is important because she was born under the Red Moon (or something to that nature, no pun intended), but the white is both classic-ish and peaceful, which I figured an ambassador would do.
Stripping Wonder Woman of her armor as a warrior, which Amazons are, would be stripping away a big part of her culture, heritage, and overall identity. So instead of forgoing that aspect, I dressed it up in a way that does not provoke conflict.
But seriously who would ever pick a fight with a woman if she DID dress like an Amazon? I thought so.

Damn. This is awesome. I'd complain about the feet, but I know HeroMachine doesn't really have a "sandals" option.
Wonder Woman always struck me as a character that was never really given enough commitment by DC comics. Batman was given everything they had, Superman was covered constantly, though they kept his idiotic costume for too long(as I've explained in other comments, this wouldn't be as much of a problem if they weren't also trying to make him serious and badass as opposed to acknowledging his outdated and hokey origins while saving up all his badass for relatively rare 'heroic' moments).
Wonder Woman, on the other hand, has pretty much always been the vaguely Greek lady in a bathing suit. She was apparently considered so unimportant by DC that they rebooted her IN THE MIDDLE OF A FEW EVENTS. Then came the actual reboot, and while her bathing suit does look MORE like armor, it still looks like a bathing suit instead of the armor of a powerful ruler/demigod.
Now that I have my basic thoughts on Wonder Woman down, I will say that these are excellent redesigns of her outfit. 2, 4, and 6 are the most appealing to me. 2 and 4 have excellent color schemes with straps that actually look like Grecian armor. 6 has a plainer color scheme that I quite like, and though the thin straps are a little odd to see on armor they ARE at least there (unlike almost any version of WW as done by DC).

Haha thanks! They had sandals, but they looked too dated, and the others looked like flip flops.
I feel DC knows that they have a lot of bad costuming, they're just too scared of the knee jerk reactions of the fans (seriously what legitimate reasons for PG's "window," or Wonder Woman's Patriotic bathing suit? NONE). And when they do redesigns, they're not that good. It's almost as if they pull out redesigns they were too scared to use in the 80's or 90's and call it a "reboot." (Superman in armor, "street-smart" Wonder Woman, they sound like really bad ideas for made-for-tv movie of the Justice League).

Great success. And yes, I love that movie so much. The approach to the 'mystic' parts of the Marvel universe was very, VERY refreshing and cool (a short, sweet explanation that allowed them to use some cool and innovative effects while also keeping it very mythic and cosmic at the same time).

Aye. Heck, one look at Spider-Man tells you he was meant to rip off of Superman from the start. Now he's his own hero and very different. So ripping off is nothing new. All that matters is that the element you're using is a good one.

Exactly, and how you make those elements work.
Superman and Spidey are often compared to each other, but I don't know why. I know they're the most iconic characters in their respective universe's, but that and they're seemingly unbreakable character (Spidey still cracks jokes, and Superman is still... Superman).

Well, it's a bit more in how they started out.
Superman's powers upon start: Super-strength, super-speed, leaping, heightened senses, invulnerability.
Spider-Man's powers upon start: Super-speed (a bit), super-strength (a bit more), climbing, and spider-senses, as well as home-made web-shooters.
Superman's costume: Red and blue, both dark.
Spider-Man's Costume: Red and blue, both VERY dark.
Superman: Reporter for the newspaper the Daily Star (eventually changed to the Daily Planet), wears glasses and is kinda nerdy.
Spider-Man: Photographer for the Daily Bugle, wears glasses and is kinda nerdy.
You see what I mean? That said, modern-day Superman is not Spider-Man and modern Spider-Man is not Superman. They're very separate characters who are incredibly iconic and well-liked, each for different reasons.
