The leader of the Avengers, Captain Skull!

In this reality Johan smith was forced to become a test subject for the Nazis own super soldier program.
Steve Rogers and John Steele freed him from the nazis, along with several other test subjects.

They fought alongside eachother through the war, Steve died saving him.

Skull took up his shield and carried on in his name.

His face was still severely scarred by the experiments which is why he wears this helemt(that is also a mask) in battle.

His involvment in the Villainous Avengers story follows here.

Before Mystique came to ask the Avengers for help,
captain skull and ultron where investigating the dissapearance of man-thing, and the sudden outbreak of numerous
diseases around his swamp in florida.

Man-thing had proven to be a somewhat difficult..."man" to work with, but he was the one who reawoke Skull
And may or may not have intentionally led the Avengers to find him.

When Skull and Ultron arrived at the swamp,they found it warped. Twisted by something sinister.

They would encounter him later, in Asgard, Having been turned into the Horseman of Pestilence.

It took Ultron,captain skull,Heimdal and 13 asardians to slow down man-things rampage in asgard.

being a product of both science and magic, and tied to the nexus of realities,
man-thing has always been somewhat unpredictable.

As such, it was uncertain how well Apocalypses alterations and brainwashing
would hold.

It seemed Skull managed to get through to him,since he slowed his attack and began calming,
but they would never know for certain.
Ultron took the opening and discharged the majority of his energy core at man-thing,
destroying him.

Skull was angry, but Ultron reminded him that Man-thing can never truly die,he will be
reformed in the swamp in time.
