Did this some while ago.It's from the Never Ending Story.
I colored Atreyu and Falkor in with colored pencils. And the background (which took me all day) I did with windows paint. Airbrushing is so freaken' hard! X0 But the stars were fun to do.

Atreyu the warrior of the Plains People, and Falkor the luckdragon, as they are seen in 'The Never Ending Story' movie.

big update to this pic!Sure needed it. Falkor looks even better this time, and so does Atreyu. (even though he looks a bit scrawny)
Listening to the soundtrack of this movie is inspirational. I especially love the German soundtrack, where most of it was done by Klaus Doldinger.
The starry background doesn't look the same as I liked it before, but it will do for now.

Atreyu's actually a Greenskin, but they didn't have the budget to make that work in the movie (but they didn't have the budget to make the movie work in general) so they changed it.

Yes, My mom owns the first and the second one, and my mom saw the 4th one but never bought it... and we don't own the 3rd one. we both want to see the 3rd and 4th but we can't find them...*whimper*

Some of the music in there is pretty cool. But I don't like the way Falkor looks

This is SOOO adorable. Falkor look like a pup-luckdragon in your style. Why doesn't deviantart have more fan art of Falkor? It's sad! Oh well, I have a related deviation. I'd be ecstatic if you'd check it out and leave some commentary.

If you hadn't told me that the BG was done with MS Paint, I never would have known. Without using the download button it doesn't look like it was made with MS Paint. O.O
