My sketch for the next shop tee shirt design. I'm thinking of doing this one in only black and grey and red. I might throw a banner on the bottom with "Khaos Ink Tattoo." I think it's potentially very cool ( not that I'm into tattoos myself, but still ).
I don't think there are too many bones; I think they're well disposed around her head, like rays of light emanating from her.
I don't know how you intend to do the nose as in the present state there's a sharp difference of color between the upper and lower sides; I definitely think solid black is best ( perhaps it might be better to put the nose ring in silver so it better stands out ?? )
I think the most important would be not to spoil the expression you've given to her, as often ( I think ) the expression is more apparent in BW and dimmed by color

The area around her eyes and nose would be mostly darks, with just a hint of a highlight... I just didn't want to shade the sketch TOO much, since I mostly need the lines as reference for when I do the final product... I'll likely try for a more painted style in this one rather than my typical comic book style lines. I do worry about losing that piercing detail if I keep it black and grey though. Maybe I'll do a color version AND a black/grey/red version and see what people like better. Thanks for taking the time to comment!
