SHOUTINGthis is Edgar. he is a MLP adoptable. he is part of a set of bird-based ponies I'm currently making and I don't want to keep all of them, so I'm offering them out as adoptables. Edgar is crow-based, and I will be doing others like hummingbirds and maybe some birds of paradise.
to determine who gets Edgar here, you must merely comment and give him details;

I'd also like it very much if you'd make some art of the adoptable you want. you don't have to, but if you do it while I'm deciding it'll boost your chances of getting him, and if you do it after you get him just because I'd love to see it. c:
obviously, if you do make art of him, you are allowed to tweak him a bit. I don't even like his cutie mark personally, but I figured I better give him SOMETHING.

Edgar "NightRaven" Lunora
Sex: Male (:
Age: My ideal age for Edgar would be around 21 or 22. He is a more mature, relaxed, and wise stallion.
Likes: Very well written poetry and literature, the season of winter for it's delightful scenes of snow and ice, midnight, dark ocean blue, and pale daisy yellow.
Dislikes: As a kind and steady stallion, he hates sloppy or unorganized locations; or even the most unsteady, uncoordinated pony. For an odd reason, he hates the color red. He dislikes getting dirt on his hooves and when the rain leaves the dirt muddy.
Birthplace: Edgar was born in the outskirts of a city called Secattle. There was where cattle was raised and trained, and it was absolutely dreadful. The mud always got on his hooves and so, he moved to a city with more civilized people, such as Coltnetticut, just to get away from the horrible name of being a Secattlkin. (more of this topic in his history)
Current Location: Coltnetticut, in a lovely little cot where he studies potions and brews some of his own. The cot has very victorian-period decorations and feel, and even a victorian like lab for studies. He studies medicines, yet reads every little piece of literature he could get his hooves on.
History: As a colt, he lived in Secattle. Here was where cattle roamed freely and believe it or not, was the most messy place ever. Mud puddles were everywhere, 1 out of 3 steps of a normal pony in Secattle landed in a mud puddle. There was more of muddy and dirt lands, and as a kid he hated it. His parents were ones of the most known, and the most hillbillyish as well. So, once he hit 18, he left Secattle behind. He changed his name from Cole Tarna to Edgar Lunora. No one, except for his parents, know about his original name and where he's from. But he doesn't hate his parents - He writes them letters expressing his dear concerns for their health and letting them know about life and such.
Special Talent: His special talent is studying potions, medicines, and the moon. He is absolutely fascinated in it - The way it pulls on the Earth, he can't help but get a little smile when he sees it come out.
Family/Friends: He was the only child of his parents, Virginia and Ryan Tarna. In Secattle, there is no "special names"(such as Rainbow Dash or Apple Jack) so he changed his name(still under the pin name of Edgar Lunora) to Night Raven.
He has a pet raven named Oscar that pays him company - Other than that, he makes no friends in order to keep schedule of his studies and readings.
Extra: When the clock strikes midnight, edgar's blue colors go completely black and is left as a black stallion. his eyes appear even golder - and he smiles the way a cheshire cat would.

I tried to think of something, but I really can't. :'D I fail at backstories like this. It takes me a while to develop solid characters. Even longer if they aren't completely my design. >u<;;

Name: Edgar "Eddie" Corax
Age: I see the Mane 6 in the 17-25 range, so for him, around 28. Born January 19th.
Likes: Autumn, the crunch of leaves, the color orange, candied apples
Dislikes: Loud noises, rudeness, brussels sprouts
Birthplace: Baltimare (Home of Poe!)
Current Location: Ponyville
History/Personality: A bit shy, and quite eccentric. Prone to postulate prodigiously, and an altogether absurd affinity for alliteration. Moved to Ponyville for a bit of fresh air. Frequents the Books and Branches Library. Snarky pet crow Montressor.
Special Talent: Owns an aviary, but has a real passion for poetry.
Family/Friends: Lost his sister, Lenore, during a cold snap when they were just foals. Is one of the few who don't find Rarity's histrionics that odd.
I may do some art of him just for kicks.
