Description
Derek steps closer to Stiles, into what remains of the haze around him. As soon as he steps through it, it curls around him and his entire body surges with the power and his connection to Stiles. It's overwhelming, and he wonders if Stiles is going to remember any of this. He still hasn't moved or opened his eyes.

Carefully, Derek bends down and places his arm under Stiles' legs and hefts him up. Immediately, the gold surrounding him dissipates, and Stiles goes limp in his arms. "We need to get him to Deaton," Derek says.

It's the summer after Stiles' first year of college, and he's working a crappy job and dealing with nightmares and anxiety - but he's okay, he swears. He makes it through most days without too much trouble. Then, a certain werewolf comes back into town. Which Stiles doesn't care about, nope, not at all.

After two and a half years, Derek returns to Beacon Hills with his small Pack. Though he tried to move on, something just kept drawing him back to Beacon Hills, he's just not sure what. Now, he figures he can start building something like a life - but he keeps getting distracted by Stiles Stilinski of all people.

THE LAST CHAPTER IS POSTED!!! !!! after one year, and almost 200k words, the fanfic is complete! ;7;
idk if i wanna cry or jump through the roof xD because at the same time i'm happy that we, me and thepsychicclam, managed to finish this but i'm also kind of sad that it ended?? ;-; (we are probably gonna work on sth new at some pont tho xD haha)
it was a really fun experience to work on this and i think i made some progress bc of it as well >U< (since i cringe everytime i see the first fanart i did for this fic :'D haha) plus i got to be one of the first one to read the new chapters :3

but yes, the fic is complete and there's nothing we can do : ))
that means it's not a WIP anymore so the ones who waited can start reading!
i know i'm gonna read it again pretty soon ;U;! IT'S SO GOOD <3

this scene was so awesome OwO!! so OF COURSE i had to draw it xD haha
*cough* RinYukituji since we talked about sth like this MONTHS ago (derek carrying stiles) and i haven't managed to draw it before i though it would be fair if i tagged you in this xD
and yes... derek was very much naked in this scene xD haha
