I have only seen clips of Balto 2, ngl it’s exactly what I expected it to be: a product of its budget. Balto in real life was neither half wolf or ever had puppies- he was fixed at 6 months due to his bowed legs being unfavorable for breeding purposes. Considering Balto was not a box office hit and barely made a profit I’m suprised a sequel even exists at all!Anyways I don’t have too much issues with Aleu’s design- she’s not ridiculously hyperfeminized or too cutesy in appearence- but she doesn’t really look THAT different from Balto, she’s not more “wolf-like” as Balto had described her to be. Soooo I tried to make her more individualistic but gave her obvious Balto (grey pelt, obvious wolf features) and some Jenna features (her reddish coloration in some areas+eye shape and ears+black ear tips).
