Just scenes from the cartoon. I was practicing drawing/drawing BJ characters. And I love that part where BJ hugs Lydia through the mirror.
I'd like to do some romance pics of those two.

I just sat here trying to remember that episode for the longest time, and I just can't. I remember BJ was relieved about something. And I think it was from one of the earlier episodes. Sorry I wasn't of much help!

Their relationship always did seem quirky in the cartoon. I think I remember someone asking if she was his girlfriend. Wasn't it BJ's aunt and uncle? they thought that she was his girlfriend rather than some little girl friend?
Oh well. I love seeing her hug him and visa versa. He looks so SQUISHY!

Yes, it was BJ's Aunt Irma and Uncle Sid, I believe. They manifested themselves as portraits on BJ's wall in the Roadhouse.

It was his Aunt Lucy and Uncle Victor ^-^ They are the ones that manifested themselves as portraits. Aunt Irma and Uncle Sid were the ones that would take him to the Resort of Last Resort and put him through school.
Makes me wonder how long he lived with them rather than his own parents, ne?

That always did confuse me. Who did he stay with when? And why? Never could truly figure it out.

From what I understand, he lived with his parents, but somehow ended up either living with Irma and Sid, or having his "private" schooling simply paid for by them. But, unlike Lucy and Victor, it seems Sid and Irma have a very genuine love and pride for Beetlejuice...almost as if they loved him as their own son. Though his mother had a picture of him on her wall, Sid and Irma had baby pictures displayed on their houseboat of him.
Rather than the "get a job" and "clean your room" nagging he gets from home, it seems Irma and Sid are more interested in simply spending time with him and getting information about his life. Irma actually made the remark " You aren't married yet, are you?"
Funny...seems except for his mother and Donny, everyone ignores poor Lydia LOL.
