after struggling with brushes and effects, this is the result. oh...i know i could do better than this. =A=;;;
anyways, putting stuff together was fun. so enjoy

I disagree, and find your employment of textures very effective. They create visual interest, as all textures will, and smart use allows them to do what they do best: differentiate. The different textures make interesting visual cues for the end of the background and the start of the figure, and the same with the butterfly. The texture-leak over her cheek alludes to other interpretations of the texture as well. Could it be water, rain or tears, or something else indeed?
Furthermore, the painted feel of the piece impresses me even more so with the digital art distinction. The buttery-smooth nature of the strokes define as much as they gorgeously provide a tangibility.
The skin tone is a masterful exercise in color, and the play of light bespeaks great skill and practice.
The balance is a little itty bit top heavy, hosting the greatest degree of color variation and the most texture as well...though the ribbon about the next helps provide a repetition of shapes and a color link. It just needs a little bit more color at the bottom to even out the weight, maybe...
But that's hardly something to base a critique on.

thank you for your critique. i really appreciate it. it was originally had more complicated designs and all sorts planned out in the sketch. but i had to exclude it due to time T-T;;
i'll take your advise for some improvement for next work.
