Well if he's around 153 Earth years I believe that translates to 16 Irk years. HOWEVER, in The Trial it's hinted that Zim has some sort of disorder. This disorder could be the reason why he's not growing. ALSO in The Trial, The Tallest are seen growing fairly quickly, while Zim kept growing about a millimeter every Irk year. (About.) So... :I In the comics we'll have to see if Jhonen releases Zims "disorder" and lets Zim grow for once. (Literally, and as a character.)

I actually would honestly hate character development in Zim. Because he's a "Defective", it wouldn't seem natural. :I As for height., it would actually be hilarious if Zim grew taller than Dib. Zim's reaction would be SO full of his ego it would breach the clouds.

lol, yeah - Zim just wouldn't be the same if he changed. I much prefer him as the selfish, sociopathic jerk who constantly ruins his own plans. It's MUCH more entertaining.
As for the height thing, unless it was explicitly stated, I wouldn't put too much money on Zim growing any more. Not in the least because during the Tak episode he was the same height as he was 50 years ago.

That's true. However, he could begin growing since Earth's gravity is lighter than Irk's. (Judging by how the Humans are taller than the Tallest and the Tallest are well... The Tallest of Irkens.) The reason for this thought is because in "The Nightmare Begins" Zim is shorter than Skoodge, but in Hobo 13 Zim is TALLER than Skoodge. Who knows?
