There is living some swedishspeaking people here in Finland and i´m one of them I´m living in a community named Larsmo that lies in pohjanmaa between Pietarsaari and Kokkola and the most of the people living here is swedishspeaking. We had finnish in school but i was´nt any good at it and in work there is´nt many finnishspeaking either so...
But i know that i should learn and it would be very useful to be able to speak finnish

yeah.. i kind of assumed that you are from somewhere there and that you were swedishspeaking, but i had to ask. couldnt help it. one of my friends actually lives near kokkola and she always talks about those swedishspeaking areas. i guess there are some near helsinki too. not that many swedishspeaking people here where i live, though. i wonder why..

hey i don´t mind that you asked about it yes whe seems to be placed in pohjanmaa and uusimaa i don´t know why either it is in a way kind of silly that i live in a country that the biggest language is finnish and i can´t talk it, but i think that the biggest reason is that i don´t travel a lot and i don´t get in contact with finnishspeaking so often and my social skills are´nt the best

i guess i can only imagine how it would be if i didnt speak finnish. might be the same if i moved to sweden and lived in haaparanta or somewhere else like that. i studied swedish at school too, but i've forgotten most of it. it's a pity though, it would be nice to improve my swedish
