Description
This was a tough decision to make. I was stuck between 4 other ground types (Cubone, Flygon, Donphan and Gliscor), but Excadrill stood out most to me. It's metal attacks helped me greatly against most ground types (an future fairy types), plus with him being part steel I was able to survive most attacks other Pokemon wouldn't be able to withstand. Anyways, I'm never too disappointed when I choose him, plus, going against fairy types is a breeze with this guy around and look at how plump he looks, you just wanna hug him.
And yes if you haven't figured it out by now, the name "Monty" was taken from the Mario enemies' name: Monty Mole. Fitting isn't it?

Excadrill's just an awesome Pokemon in general. I had one on my White 2 team, and he proved to be really useful. X3 Also, got an awesome voice in the anime.

OMG! I LOVE Exacdrill! He's most second favorite PokΓ©mon, next to Charizard. Charizard is my first, Excadrill is my second and Buizel is my third favorite. Lugia is my fourth favorite. The most coolest thing about Excadrill is that he is very similar to Charizard because he never gives up, no matter how hard a challenge is

Yes, he is! Excadrill is definitely Charizard's twin because they both have the most strongest determination ever! I'm surprised that the creators had wanted Excadrill to be like Charizard! BTW, Swellow gets his determination by Ash's willpower.
