An idea I got during my morning shower. Got some time over during my lunch break to paint it so here it is...A pretty classic thinge but hey, classic can be good, right... right?

Did you start with the black canvas or white?

I would be scared to go in a builting if there were only one of these 
I (almost) always start on a canvas 50% grey. If it's going to be a darker painting i might start with more % grey, or vice versa for lighter. Easier to pick out highlights and shadows imo.

I always start out with white and often have trouble with lighting at the end. I'm going to try that method c:
