Description So, in the concept stages for Fallen Leaf, it was pointed out to me how simliar the dynamic is between Myra/Squirtle and Red/Fallen Leaf.
Both pairs are basically "the same person", Red/Myra are chained silent protagonists who appear into the world to steal the antagonist Leaf/Squirtle's life, causing them to return disfigured and get revenge.

But there's a lot of fair differences between the two pairs, I think.

Squirtle is bitter because she never got the chance to live a full life, meanwhile Leaf HAD that full life and it was taken away.
Squirtle wants to kill Myra and take her place with no negotiation, since Myra's very existence caused her to decay, but Leaf does not want Red dead, and probably believes that she and Red could actually co-exist if it was only allowed. In fact, she would welcome it.
If Leaf was fought while you were playing as a girl, and Red was fought while you were playing as a boy, if it was 100% ambiguous on who the "canon" trainer was, then the entire pasta wouldn't have happened.

Myra is fully sentient, while Fallen Leaf's Red isn't. Myra feels a sense of entitlement, a mission to destroy Squirtle because she was "chosen" to be the hero. She didn't want to come into the world to replace Squritle, but now that she exists, she "has" to fulfill that role.
Red doesn't have this characterization; rather, he is an empty sockpuppet with no feeling at all, because Leaf was the one that lived a full life, Leaf was the one with a soul.
Because of this, Red is entirely unphased and unbothered about standing on Mt. Silver forever.

To say that he has the same characterization as Myra would be unfair to Leaf, because it makes this Red, an embodiment of Game Freak's nostalgiac bias and misogyny, sympathetic. It would imply that Leaf isn't justified and was wrong for retaliating against this, that she should have accepted her fate and faded away.
Red's punishment wasn't for revenge on him personally, but rather because he was a representation of Leaf's erasure, and because she doesn't have a direct line to the people who actually did this to her.

That all said though, it's fun to compare and contrast these characters, haha.

No clue what your sexist attitude has to do with you debunking that Leaf and Green are two different people but sure....

Well no, red and ash both have different personalities. Red and Green/Leaf are meant to be equals.

Imagine being a little kid who picked the girl in leaf green and then when soul silver comes out you go to mount silver and instead of fighting the character you played as it's a stranger. Imagine being told the character you picked is "non canon" just because they're the girl character.
