Mermaids took over my brain today.Here is the result; JB used as the base for an orca mermaid. It seems like I can only draw women lately. Go fig.
This is okay, I like the flow of the picture, the composition is good, but her right hand is too big.

Y'know, her right hand doesn't look big. It actually looks more like you purposefully attempted perspective, making her hand closer to the viewer :3

It's still full of pretty, as far as hands go. And mermaid contamination is brilliant! Really. More people should give in to those impulses.

Well, Inuit is a Native american tribe, but that aside, JB is part Apache, and when I tried to think of a sea creature prominent to Native mythology, killer whale was the first thing that popped up.
I suppose I could have gone with salmon, too.

Actually, a selkie is an Irish water fairy that would turn into a seal, not a mermaid with a whale, dolphin or seal tail.
If you found thier seal skin, you would bind them to you forever.
