Description Kaal'tur sulking in his enclosure.

This would be before he was allowed to keep Shahlah.

I'm not pleased with the wall in the background, but everything else looks pretty good, so I guess I can't complain.

I gotta say I love that snake body! Snakes are something I'm currently struggling with. One would think they'd be easy, but surprise! They're not! D: Not if one wants them to look that good, at least. Kudos!

I looked over a lot of snake pictures before I drew that. I've seen some utterly terrible naga art and I was determined not to be part of the problem. One thing everyone seems to overlook is that the really, really big snakes are kind of square rather than round. Hence my blocky, bulky naga.

Indeed. As soon as I get good enough, I'll join you in leading by example ^^

When feeling displeased with the wall just pretend that you were high when you drew it, and that it was supposed to be trees. I've had to use that trick on an embarrassing number of sketches

You know, I don't see much Naga art that I like, but you've pulled it off nicely, what with the realistic snake body. I've seen pythons in the zoo bend their bodies just like that.

Yeah, I wanted to make the snake part look as real as possible. I've seen some really bizarre naga art where you think the artist had never seen a snake before, just heard one described.

I looked over a lot of snake pictures before I did this. ^^

Very pretty. I'm always kind of amazed at how you seem to have managed to get your colored pencil talent to bridge over onto CG coloring.

Me, I have a tablet, have for a year and a half now, but I can't ever seem to get myself to use it. Sigh.

Is that a stone wall in the background or one of those silly 'chunks of glass' viewing-walls?

I do like the way he's kind of slumped out there.

It was supposed to be stone, but the chunks of glass actually make a lot more sense.

Ah! Well, that works then, right? Glad to have, I dunno. Helped maybe? Wouldn't want to presume, mind.

Poor Guy. *gives Kaal'tur a gentle to give his company*

By the way, what kind of Naga is he? By his coloration, he looks like a Rainforest Boa.

I was actually trying for Burmese python, but I evidently didn't get it right.
