On July 5th, my boyfriend had the idea to check out a local state park. When we arrived at the entrance, the gate was closed but there were still places to park, however, only one trail would lead us to where we wanted to go. All fine and dandy until about 10 minutes in: a majority of the trail was un-kept, the grass was almost knee-high in spots, and it ended for us when we realized we had to go through a muddy/water area to continue. Not what we were expecting. Also, because of the high grasses and the fact that it rained the previous morning, the mosquitoes found me to be a great blood donor. I managed to get a couple photos in.
