Leilani is a strong, quirky, and fun individual. growing up how she did proved to her that to get where she wanted in life, she had to really put her all into everything she did. Now its just become a habit to take everything head on and to do her best at everything, even if it doesnt end well.
  Leilani enjoys fashion, and often her outfits reflect her mood. most of the time she'll wear bright and colorful clothing, and its rare to see her not care about how she looks fashion wise.

She loves sports and competition. Sometimes too much once she feels like she is being challenged she plays to win, and often does. "Pendulum" = To match Leilani's 'Dust dousing' ability, She keeps a dust infused pendulum on her to help her locate large quantities of dust.sometimes the dust in the air can disrupt her natural(magical?) dust-sense, so having a second option is useful.

"Business Suit"= The armor she wears outside the walls of Ironstead is a creation of her own. the fabric used is a hybrid bullet proof fabric, only good to be used for about a week until the fibers lose their durability. she has a closet full of them. History Dossier:

  Mirium and Rico Rigfree, a couple from the poorer side of High-end Ironstead, wanted to have children. But the possibility of a successful birth was low given Mirium's health. As their chances grew thinner, the war between Altol and Ironstead grew, putting their homely worries aside as Rico decided to go fight in the war. Many of their neighbors and colleagues frowned upon this choice, saying "let the poorer people handle it." But, well, Rico wasnt that kind of person.

"if someone is going to die in a war to protect my family, its going to be me."

And thus to war he went. A year of blood and fighting passed. During a raid of enemy camps Rico was seriously wounded, enough to put him out of duty. After recovering for a month back at the ironstead camp he was set to return home on a truck, with others who where worse off than him. The trip back would take three days and nights, and every soldier was pushed past the point of exhaustion. So least to say that a heavy cloud of dread hung over their heads when an Altol troop camp was spotted ahead.

With caution and weary hearts, those who could moved ahead to investigate, Rico among them. But, to their surprise, the camp was abandoned all for the traces of wounded who could not make it; limbs and discarded bandages littered the ground, clothes of the dead that couldnt be reused and, upon further searching, bodies lay in tents unmoving and silent.

  Rico Rigfree limped his way through the rows of bodies, inspecting each with growing unrest in his heart. Many of these men and women looked like they could of survived, but instead were left to die.

"what kind of people--"

Rustling. Then a cough came from the end of the tent. Rico Raised a gun with his good arm, sweat dripping down his face. Was this all a trap? A set up to loll them int a false sense of safety, so that they could ambush them? Rico's guts churned with worry and building stress as he moved towards the end of the tent. None of the corpses laying on the cots gave way to any signs of life. Approaching the last two cots, he had begun to think it had just been an illusion of the mind - until he saw red soaked towels and a puddle of blood on the ground behind the last cot. the world seemed to stop as Rico looked to the ground to see the owner of the red stream.

  A small child. Female, barely 13 by the looks of it, one leg blown off bellow the knee and only tied up in a loose attempt to stop the bleeding. The girl must of been a page, not even trained to fight and was caught in the cross fire. Her body was obviously malnourished and had broken into a dangerous heat, and she lay unconscious. If they had discovered the camp a day later she would of been another corpse.

The caravan of wounded solders decided to take the child with them. The last thing any of them wanted was the murder of a kid as their final act of war. As day passed into night, the truck moved farther and farther from the air of war. Next stop, New Ironstead.

Half a year in and out of the hospital for Both Rico and the child of war. He recovered, if you could consider barely being able to use your right arm and leg as recovered. And as for the girl, she awoke with no memory of where she came from or how she came to be in that tent, her only memory her name: Leilani. With things as they were, they couldn't confirm if she was really from the Altol state or not, and no info could be brought from her.

  And time passed. The war had finally closed and come to an end.

  They had survived.

  They had won.

The Rigfree's decided to take the girl in as their own. It was an awkward year of adjusting to a debatably 'normal' life style. Of course, neighbors gossiped and debated the origins of the child, given that the young couple refused to disclose just how they came across her. And, kids as they normally do, mimicked their parents attitude toward Leilani. Many of the rich kids of High-End Ironstead shunned her; "adopted", "bastard", "cant even afford a cybernetic limb", and more. On top of not knowing anything about who she really was, Leilani took all these baseless insults to heart.

She became anti-social, and often would disappear for hours on end. During these hours that she declared as 'play time' to her guardians, she would sneak her way into Low-end Ironsted, wandering without a goal, and often only trying to recall the time's before she woke up in that hospital, surrounded by white. One day while on one of these endeavors, her thoughts where disrupted by a ball flying in-front of her. A group of kids, far grubbier than the ones she was used to, had been playing Lacrosse in a park across the way. After returning the ball, one of the kids invited her to play with them. The First time she refused, but a few more encounters at the park and Leilani gave in.

From then on she spent her time down in the parks of Low-End Ironstead, playing games and learning new sports with those kids. Leilani began to open up to them and the Rigfrees, and with more time she learned (or recalled) new things about herself, such as the fact she knew how to sew and mend clothes, and that she understood two other languages.

She went to school for fabric manufacturing, learning how to create newer and more durable fibers that could be used for better active wear or outside the walls of New Ironstead for Dust miners. Her interest turned from solely fashion to how it related to military grade armor. After developing her own bullet-proof fabric, Leilani studied Social media and the politics that happened between companies and public image. By the time she was 22 she had created a name in the Material science field, and decided that the best way to use her talents was where it was needed most; Dust Mining. Her Adopted father helped her secure a job with Orion, and now here we are.
