Lisa lives in a remote town in the Pacific Northwest and does a lot of "outdoor expeditions" (where really she just likes studying the wildlife) hence the pocket knife. She's very resourceful and always seems to know how to help, but only when you actually see she's been there the whole time. She tries not to let her cousin Ross give her a cynical mindset, and instead focuses on what's best for her.

Ross is basically teen Ryan Ross very musically inclined, despite his taste in music being "extremely specific" because "the musical atmosphere is continually being clogged with awful noise and I'm afraid I'll have to be the one to save it." That being said, he does play an instrument, and owns three guitars, one he custom-made by himself.

Rudy is a little withdrawn, to say in simplest terms, but is very in tune with the world (and how it had wronged him) and is very caring for his friends despite him appearing "stand-offish." He's the reason Judy isn't in big trouble, and she's the reason he keeps fighting. They make a perfect dynamic duo, and not just because they're twins.

Judy is fearless and fights for everything she stands for. Truth, as well as rebellion, is very important to her. She will stop at nothing to make sure that "harmful social structures won't take anyone else like us." She's very vocal and goal-oriented, and to her, consequences are an afterthought.
