Well,that is,I think,the shortest title of a picture I've painted so far. It is related to my journal entry Too Spooky For You To Swallow ( [link] ),and, more precisely,to a performance you can view here: [link] .... But most of all,I painted this for the concept.This is not a picture about you,or me,or Manson. It's about all of us. Hence the title. There used to be an "us",and I believe there still is. All of you,don't let the world bring you down,for you're its future.

I thought I recognized Manson's nose...although not as recognizable as Twiggy's...Portrait era is one of my least favorite eras...I love the Grotesk Burlesk...I'm in the middle of re-readin LHROOH and he just mentioned how pissed he was at Axl Rose for covering a Charles Manson song after them...

I haven't read his bio,so I can't comment on it...Well,I won't deny POAAF is one of my favorite eras,and still,so is the TGAOG...I might be the only person on earth who absolutely adores both TGAOG and POAAF... These two are on top in my favorite eras ever list,believe it or not,though they seem so different...

well after rereading about it in retrospect I can see and appreciate how they went about it...definitely some of my favorite shenannegains went on during it, but you'd have to have read Long Hard Road Out of Hell...

I know it is,Manson said it was Patti Smith in the video. I do NOT chalk up the idea to him,but I don't know how to draw Patti Smith...and it doesn't matter who came up with the idea first. I painted this for the idea,and yeah,he's not a starter,but a follower... But hell,it's the concept that matters.
