Here is my frist fanart of Last Exile for my friends clubits Dio.
ive never really seen it myself so i dont know if i got the character good.

You know, for a piece you don't like, this is really nice. I do have a pointer and a question, but before the pointer, I want to say that for someone who hasn't seen much of the series, you did a great job. :3
The only problem I can see here is that Dio's little side-lock is on the wrong side. ;3
And now the question: Did you have a particular character in mind with the text? My first thought was actually Delphine - that he's longing for her love, for her to be a real sister rather than a sadistic, cruel *mumble*... The reason I thought of her is that she loves roses - and because they're her signature flower, Dio hates them. If I'm off base, well, I guess it's my bad. XD

Well, it's amazing, and Last Exile is by far my favorite anime, well, anything that this particular studio does is awesome... But amyways, this Dio picture = mucho love.

I wish you would have posted this one in a larger version. I like the facial features very much so I would have liked to see them in more detail. The yellow is a wonderful touch.

oh, and the colours... your composition is always so beautiful.
seriously, i don't think it should really matter whether a character's a girl or a boy, provided you don't get the physical structure wrong... and bishounen are androgynes if anything, so no harm done. just don't give 'im breasts unless he's quite large. XP
