If you get the Hearthfire mod, you can make Breezehome more homey.
One of the items you can get is the alchemy worktable.
The Dragonborn mod has the best house.
You have to work for it though.
This place has all of the worktables, alchemy, enchanting and a forge.
I still go back to the Breezehome because its close to the forge.
There is a trick to raising your blacksmithing skill and its easier to do
if you do not have to walk far.

I bought the legendary version, it had three preinstalled mods.
Dawnbreaker- Fight a rising tide of vampiric darkness.
HearthFire- Can furnish a home and even build/design one. I have not done any building or designing yet.
Dragonborne- Fight a cult that worships a corrupted dragon lord.
They spent a lot of time on this one. New regions, new spells and perks.
I like the perk that protects followers from my hostile magic.
Lydia likes to jump in front of my fireballs.
There is a great fire spell that causes burn damage over time but
does not do splash damage. Its good when working with other folks.
I have seen some of the other mods.
There is one in which you can play with toy soldiers.
I would like to try that one out when I finish the game.
