In the game I tried what you have Sly doing, but in the game they put this invisible barrier. Good to see what would of happened in real life.
I've heard that Sly 1 is being made into a movie and will be released this year (2016). I wonder how this scene will be like in the Sly 3 movie?

It all depends on how well the folks do on the 1st movie. If they do it justice and it's popular, then the potential for Sucker Punches' trilogy (not counting Sanzaru's Sly 4... don't consider it canon). I would think they would have this scene, as fighting off the Mask of Dark Earth was key to getting The Guru on the team.
