Thanks so much! This was a challenge, but it was great practice. I'm drawing another version, this time based-off of the movie.

Good afternoon, and greetings to you from California. First of all, thank you for the llama; it was really nice waking up to this, and I appreciate it. Secondly, thank you for Doctor Strange. He was not only my favorite superhero, but my teen "ego ideal". (As you might guess, it's been a long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long time since I was a teen. After Dr. Strange, in my twenties (long, long, long time since then, too) and for the next 40 years it was a ZBS radio character Jack Flanders. In a very real way, these characters are still my life models.
Cheers,
Ed

Hello, Emcorpus! You're so very welcome, your work looks amazing! He's greatly my favorite superhero as well. I'm very glad my art could allow you to enjoy this character once more. Although, I've never heard of Jack Flanders, but I'll be checking him out very soon. Thank you for the great comment. Have a nice day!

Jack Flanders is a ZBS-created radio drama character. His voice for the past 44 years, Robert Lorick, just passed away this year. Jack Flanders starts out kind of bumbling and somewhat naive in the beginning (e.g., Fourth Tower of Inverness, Incredible Adventures of Jack Flanders); but he very soon develops into a questing Indiana Jones-kind of character with a questing metaphysical and ethical bent pursuing mystical adventures. All the characters who accompany him are also all delightful. Since public radio hardly funds this kind of programming anymore, ZBS Foundation has fallen on hard times. But this also has allowed them to make the recordings more available and cheaply to the public; so I hope people will look them up.

Ah, I see. It's sad to hear someone perform something for so long to only pass away in a heartbeat. This sounds very interesting, I'll look this radio show up someday. It would've been something I would tune into every morning. I hope more people will as well, it'll probably give ZBS a boost. Nice talking to you, Ed.

Wow, this made my day! It's rare to get comments like this, so I really appreciate it a lot. Especially when it's coming from someone outside of the interest in the fandom, and came solely for the art itself. Thank you for taking the time to see this drawing and to leave a sweet comment. Have a wonderful day!
