I'll admit, I only clicked on this because the title reminded me of Jimi Hendrix...
BUT... upon looking at this piece, I am amazed, as I have been by the rest of your art! I have never been good at drawing scenery like this (as anyone would know who looked at my art... I've only drawn a background once). But you've inspired me! I think I'll try more often at drawing backgrounds, in hopes I can make them this realistic...
Seriously, it's realistic enough to get LOST in it... @_@

I had to full view this to see that it wasn't a photograph. My goodness! I wish i had the skill to be able to convey something so well that people /really/ think it's real. I envy your skill ^^. This picture has beautiful colours and i am an absolute sucker for dusk/dawn pictures.

I'm one mind with TheRealGame over the initial photograph thought. It's just so realistic and beautiful!
I love the range of colours, all the purples look so mystical and brooding and the small touches of oranges and yellows add that bit of spark and contrast. What gets me most is the trees and bushes on the sides - how do you do such amazing work with a thick chunky pastel 
The mood, atmosphere, even the border and everything else - wonderful.

I don't know quite what to say about this piece, it really did fool me into thinking it was a photograph for quite a while.
I mean, the sky is beautiful. The emergence of colours over the mountain top is just like what you'd see in a photo, but the drawing seems to make it a little bit more magical. Also the dark purples and black of the darker sky area provide a very nice contrast with the lighter areas of sky.
And finally the trees and shrubs to the right, very life like I have to say and once again another part which fooled me into thinking this was a photo.
