Part of my sketchbook assignments for grade 12, I drew this back in September/October of 2011. The prompt word was "time". Pencil crayon in an old sketchbook I temporarily put on the shelf and forgot to riffle through until now C: Plus with a new tabloid-sized scanner, this 11 x 16 inch picture is FINALLY SCANNABLE

I wish time could stop sometimes. It's scary to always be so aware of your own mortality, but I think about dying and what I'll do with my life before I have to die quite often. Time is both wonderful and terrifying, a concept so utterly human and inconceivable that it's not a wonder a lot of artists, writers, and just... well, humans in general, we all reify it on a daily basis, just as we reify good, evil, law, love, and death. I just hope out of that list time will be kind to me in the long run.

I got an A on this Cx but that aside, I liked this drawing a lot. Double upload in a day! New record X_X
