Just a little attempt at something "creepy" for Halloween. D; I use oil paint to imitate the blood (had to thin it out with olive oil since I didn't have linseed). The razor was just from this weird hair cutting comb thing that layers hair, methinks.
Haha, but hmm... there's a second meaning to this photo for me. I struggled with cutting a few years back. It was something I truly regret. I guess the apple represents the temptation and my grasping it is sort of like taking hold of that addiction. I don't know~ haha having taken so many philosophy classes really got me used to finding second meanings in things and stuff. :I
Anyway, happy Halloween! =]

Exceptionally powerful and emotive an expression. All the more so to read the Mistress artist imbuing the piece with so intimately personal aspects of of life within an ancient and well known theme. These are the treasures of creativity to be absolutely sure. Such passion so very well expressed through art and done in such a way as to speak to others in infinite ways so as to touch upon all of our own intimate experiences with the seductive side where all manner of unknown and unexpected danger may lurk. So, so many possibilities to be found in this work creepy, corrupting, completely compelling. That bold blade buried so prominently in the bloody forbidden fruit held fast in the Feminine hand makes for manifold mind manipulative meanings. The artist knows well how to slide her razor just so over the viewer's mind as to make it tickle, maybe next time when we are full under her temptation she will proceed to make even deeper cerebral cuts.
