In some instances, I draw their wings out to show surprise/fright. They may also be out when the pegasus is challenging/arguing with someone.

That's really clever, especially since it makes perfect sense from a biological perspective for pegasi to reflexively extend their wings when startled or angry. First of all, having the wings pre-extended makes it easier for a pegasus to take off at a moment's notice, which could save its life. Second,Β spread wings make a pegasus look bigger. This is part of a behavior called a threat display, which is seen in pretty much all animals, including humans. If you have Windows you can just right click on your desktop and select 'personalize' from the list that appears. At the bottom of the window that pops up there is a 'desktop background' option.
Sometimes Windows doesn't like .PNG files as backgrounds. It converts it to a low quality .JPG. If the quality of the image is crappy let me know and I'll make a high quality .JPG version.
