We got some young!Wolf, young!Carswell, young!Rikan, unimpressed Cinder, and a bunch of sad-looking Kais.
Somebody wanted more drawings of young Ze'ev, but I can't remember who.
It's been too long since I've posted TLC.

I know I sorta commented on this in Tumblr, but I might as well do a better job of it. 
- I hadn't even looked at the unimpressed Cinder expression before. It's wonderful.

Yes, I do think cyborg!Kai would have it, unless his ears weren't damaged. I don't believe Torin would allow him to have adjustable hearing.

Oh, you know what, someone should totally write a fanfic/AU where Kai grows up as a cyborg. Then we could include all his antics with the retina scanner and audio interface and ignoring people and etc etc XDD (along with, like, cyborg-discrimination-induced angst or something).

Understandable. His cyborg ear is sensitive so he'd need a volume control. Of course that would be his reasoning to Torin.
Omg, I can imagine it now. Kai, growing up as a cyborg (in the royal palace? Maybe?) I think all those antics amd angst will drive Torin crazy and amuse Rikan to no end.

It would be great. Oh, definitely. The people of the Eastern Commonwealth, who love their emperor and his family, would be in a struggle between their hate of cyborgs and their love of their royalty. They'd definitely give up their hate for cyborgs if it meant Emperor Rikan and his family could be happy, if that makes any sense.

Hhhrrnnnggghhh yes, though it might make the imperial family's 100% Adoration Rating drop? I'm sure that political entities come under a lot of attack and that one of them being cyborg would just add fuel to the fire (if there were a fire. If not, it could spark one).

It could go either way. The people of the Eastern Commonwealth would have to decide if their hate for cyborgs is greater than their love for the royal family. They'll have to consider what it means for a family to choose between giving their child prosthetics so they can live a normal life or force them to keep their only child crippled because they're heartless.

If you couldn't tell, I'm pessimistic (sadistic?) and would like to explore the hate side.
Hmmm, I wonder what people do think about that. Like, are some people so prejudiced against cyborgs and so prideful(? I can't think of the word atm) of their family standing/reputation (*coughAdricough*) that they would rather let their child stay crippled?

True, very true. It is important to see the darker side of the Eastern Commonwealth, but it won't be possible until we know more about the Commonwealth's history.
I'm sure we would have plenty of people who would remain stubbornly against cyborgs, yet if we look at how celebrities are treated in modern times, especially in Asia and South East Asia, they are idols. When they hurt, their fans will naturally desire to support them because of their status as idols. I surmise that lifting the laws against cyborgs would slowly be lifted as the people of the Eastern Commonwealth watch Kai grow in the spotlight and see he's as normal as anyone else. Or rather, he's more hindered by the prejudice against cyborgs. I don't know.
