Description "I'm going to ruin you."
"I do not care."
A cigarette is lit, followed by another.
"I didn't know you smoked."
"I rarely do."
A candle flickers, its yellow light attempting to fight the compact darkness. Somewhere outside of the heavy velvet curtains and the dark walls, the first rays of sunshine dance across blindingly white snow.
"You know I don't do the whole 'happy' thing."
"I am not asking for that."
Shadows dance across a round, pale face. Hints of black make-up can still be seen in the corners of a pair of slate grey eyes, short dark hair lies plastered against a broad forehead and barely flushed cheeks.
"So what is it you're asking for?"
"Nothing. This. I am not going to ask for anything more."
Lips swollen from countless kisses close around the cigarette, the glowing end of it illuminating copper-coloured eyelashes and carefully tweezed eyebrows. Crimson corkscrews hang tousled and messy around bare arms and shoulders.
"Everyone wants more."
"I never said I did not want more than this, but I have no intention of craving anything from you."
Grey eyes study green ones, gazes locked while smoke curls around fingers that bear smells of lust.
"I'm not going to change for you, if that's what you thought."
"I have never imagined you would."
