Awww, your style made them so cute. They don't deserve the hate they get. I love them for their creativity and for the fact that it's not just Duck Hunt Dog.
But mostly, I love that all of their attacks are references to different Scope and Super-Scope games. Finally, Nintendo acknowledges the time when they had first-person shooters (in a sense).
Will definitely be playing as these guys. Save for Dark Pit (come on, you pick the clone and not MEDUSA, Sakurai?), the SSB4 roster has been incredibly solid.

I completely agree!!! I probably am using Duckhunt as one of my top characters unless they're extremelly hard. But they didn't seem so.
I'm also surprised at Dark Pit, specially because apparently Dark Pit in game was not actually a clone except for looks. If clones were to be put, why didnt they keep Lucas >0>
But I'm so happy with them. Actually Duckhunt was a character I had thought of being included before and I never expected it to actually happen, but here they are! And the take is so lovely! Much over my expectatives! Probably is simple playability without background but I can't help but find fascinated by the whole Duck and Dog's partnership. And thinking I was happy with simply a trolling laughing dog v @
